Those days when everything happens

Heh, heh. Well, it's been a pretty busy couple days.

On monday was the busiest day because Accounts Payable had to close (that means me!) and I had to stay until around 9:30 ugh... Buuuut, the manager let us order food and we had a really nice tacos dinner. We had shepherd's tacos, which look a little like this:

They were extremely delicious U.U and very welcome after a long day of work. I came home past 10 and had just enough energy to bathe and crash in bed.

The next day though, was far more interesting. As you can remember I said I had to go sign up for the UNAM exam*, well I turned out that my boss let me go but I had to go back to work as soon as possible. My appointment said 11:00 a.m. but I got up at 6 to get a photocopy I needed and arrived at the place at 7:45 hoping that I could pass before my appointment.

The entrance was until 9 though, so I had to wait in line in the cold with the most uncomfortable shoes for over an hour with no security that I would actually be allowed in before 11. It fact, the whole thing seemed crazy strict. One asian girl was accompanied by a...uhm, national-looking guy but no company was allowed inside. He said that she didn't understand spanish very well but even then he wouldn't be let in and the girl had to figure out everything by herself. In retrospect it does seems a bit strange, since how exactly was she going to answer the UNAM exam without a good grasp of spanish? Besides, this isn't an easy exam by any measure. *shrugs* Ah, well, who knows. I hope she does well.

The first ones were only the people with a 9 am appointment, so I still had to wait. But the queue moved really fast, and in just a few minutes (despite there being hundreds of people) they let the people from 10 and 11 get inside. Yay! It was about an hour all in all, between giving my papers, showing my ID, and getting my

picture taken. After that I went straight to work and arrived at 11 :) so I only had to stay at work until 4:30. I went to my house for a book I had forgotten, and then went back to school to find out that there wasn't going to be any class U.U ah, well, you take what you have to. I made the trip useless and was a bit angry but decided to go to the bank and see if I had been paid. I had! I now don't have to scrape for pennies for the bus! TT.TT after that I went to Wal-Mart because I wanted some herbal tea, but everything was crazy expensive! Around 6 dollars for a box with 20 bags?? Whaaat?? Spearmint and chamomille or five dollars?? No way! I bought some ginger and lemon grass and it was 10 pesos all in all for something that will last for a long time :)

After that I went back home and realized that I hadn't exercised. I changed clothes quickly and went back down to jog for a while and make a few crunches. I didn't really have any energy left or more OTL

Aaaand, today is Labor Day, which means I don't work or go to school. Yaaaay! I just exercised a bit and went out to look at a couple bookstores (didn't buy anything, I'm trying to save up.) Also, found my vitamins and took them too U.U I'd misplaced them for a couple months OTL heh, heh. I don't think I've mentioned that I joined Fitocracy, have I? Well, I did and I like it a lot. I never realized this before, but the Fitblrs in tumblr are some of the most positive and determined people I've seen. I've started following some of them. I think it will be good for my overall mood.

Hmmm... I guess that's it.

Oh, I've also fallen in love with OFF (game) and have settled myself firmly in the cutesy kawaii interpretation of it regardless of the haters :3

*As a little anecdote on that, I'll say that when I saw that the dates for the sign up sucked I thought "How could something like this happen? I usually have such great luck" heh, heh, well, no to boast but I really do have pretty neat luck from time to time.
